Dynamo defeats HBU, 6-0, in exhibition match
In its first preseason match of the year, the Houston Dynamo defeated Houston Baptist University, 6-0, at Robertson Stadium. Brad Davis scored two goals to lead the Dynamo.
Brian Ching started the match, played the first half, and assisted on Luis Angel Landín’s goal. Geoff Cameron, Danny Cruz, and Corey Ashe also scored for the Dynamo. The Dynamo will face SMU in another exhibition match on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Carl Lewis Field on the campus of the University of Houston.
This was Ching’s last game with the Dynamo for a while. On Feb. 10, Ching will report to training camp with the US National Team in preparation for a match against El Salvador in Tampa on Feb. 24.
