Frisco, TX – The Houston Dynamo tied FC Dallas, 1-1, in the season opener for both teams at Pizza Hut Park. Houston Mike Chabala scored the first goal of his career in the 36th minute giving the Dynamo a short-lived 1-0 lead. Only two minutes later, Dallas tied the game with a goal by Atiba Harris.

Brian Ching started the match and played the full 90 minutes.
