Dynamo come from behind to beat Real Salt Lake 2-1; Brian Ching suffers hamstring strain
Brad Davis converted two penalty kicks in a three-minute span early in the second half to lead the Houston Dynamo to a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake tonight.
Brian Ching started the match but was injured after 29 minutes, an injury that Dynamo officials are calling a left hamstring strain. Ching was replaced in the match by Luis Angel Landin.
“I felt a pretty strong pull in the left hamstring,” Ching said through a team spokesman to the Houston Chronicle after the match. “Now it’s going to be a couple of weeks before I’m back on the field again, but I’m going to do everything in my power to get back on the field as soon as possible.”
